Vaquero Mexican Grill

I had this place bookmarked for a while and finally came in for a quick bite. They have taco Tuesdays which is awesome. I ordered the al pastor burrito which was a great portion. I love how it came with sufficient salsa and chips! Thats so nice of them to include a small bag of crispy chips and decent portion of salsa. I really enjoyed the flavor of the salsa. Its like chunky molcajete texture which I love. The burrito had great flavor. Really enjoyed the al pastor and portions of meat - rice - beans. I will be coming back.

It was our first time trying this place. I placed the order over the phone. The food was ready when I got there. The food stayed hot until I drove to my fiance's work to eat with him. And the presentation is great. The rice was rice but the beans had so much flavor. He got the green chilaquiles sunnyside up egg with chicken, I got the huevos rancheros with red sauce and HOMEMADE tortillas. Let me tell you though that these tortillas were everything. The entrees came with chips and salsa and the salsa had a good flavor. His chilaquiles were good, the green sauce was definitely better than the my red sauce on the huevos. My red sauce was more sour than anything but it had a good mouth feel.

Their beef soup is plentiful, not short of any meat or vegetables. Everything is very tasty! I like the Horchata too!

This mexican grill is all you need for a saturday lunch. They have almost everything on the menu and prices are fair. Enchilads were extremely tasty and the goat birria had nice broth to it. The goat was but chewy but i think it was just the fat part. Micheladas were shockingly good and i am going to be back here for that. Service is pretty friendly and quick . I would recommend this place.

I usually go to the restaurant and eat indoors, when I order Carna Asada tacos they are so good however, today I ordered on Uber eats and the meat is nasty! It looks nothing like the meat when you eat inside the restaurant. They barely send any onion or cilantro and for three tacos only one SALSA they want to charge $.50 extra per SALSA I need to find another restaurant

Review is for a pick up of menudo I was craving! Anyway, it's been raining in LA and I just wanted menudo for lunch. I wasn't going to do DoorDash delivery a for a single order. I decided to see if I could do pick-up instead through the app. I noticed the menudo wasn't on the menu on DoorDash app, so I called and confirmed they still served menudo. It's my 4th time coming here for menudo and it's delicious! I also tried their pork tacos. To my surprise, their popular pork taco is Filipino Chicharron as a taco! If you're looking for menudo and don't want to drive to LA, this place hit the spot. Also, for a temporary price, menudo is 10.99 from Monday to Friday, I think from 9am to 4pm! I can't speak for their burritos or nachos, but the menudo is on point though. Their service could be a bit warmer and more often than not, their service is hit or miss.
